Join us on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 8AM, for the First Annual State of the District Victory Breakfast, featuring Superintendent Dr. Mark Ruffin. Held at The Den, MISD’s new Career & Technical Education and Agricultural Science Centers, this event is more than a breakfast—it’s a moment to reflect on 100 years of progress and to invest in the future of our students and educators.

Proudly sponsored by Two Step Farm, the Victory Breakfast will feature a gourmet spread from Honor Café, live jazz, and stunning floral arrangements created by MISD students. Dr. Ruffin will share insights into the district’s strategic goals, achievements, and vision for the next century.

This event also kicks off a day of celebration, culminating in the Mo-Town Showdown—the annual football matchup between the Montgomery Bears and Lake Creek Lions at the newly renovated stadium 

Every dollar raised supports the MISD Education Foundation’s commitment to award $125,000 in Educator Grants for the 2025–2026 school year—funding innovative classroom projects and extraordinary learning experiences across the district.
